About Tuna Forum PDF Print E-mail

Tuna Forum is a non-profit organization founded by Fundatia Tuna (which is established in 1994). Our forum has been governed by the Board of Directors, which is composed of volunteers from academic, business and cultural institutions in Romania.
The Dialog Forum is willing to stimulate thinking and exchange of opinions on supporting and fostering democracy and peace all over the world and to provide a common platform for education and information exchange.
The Dialog Forum, wants to focus on and emphasize the importance of Interfaith and Intercultural Dialog. We strongly believe that there is a need for such an initiation in Romania and in the region. Although most of us know our cultures fairly well, we don't know much about other cultures. This lack of knowledge may lead to a lot of misunderstanding and unnecessary tension. We believe that this problem can be solved through dialog and mutual tolerance. We feel that peace in the world is closer, when people know and understand each other better. Ours will be a humble attempt for this purpose.
